Gun club season now underway

Endicott

Endicott Gun Club is open and busy as usual this time of the year. Competitive shooting began on Jan. 6 and will continue until March 17.

The Gun Club is open every Sunday with the men, women and youth competing in the Spokesman Review Trap shoot, the Camas Prairie Trap Shoot and the Endicott Club shoot.

Gun Club officers are: Jim Pelissier, president; Eric Wietz, vice president; Tiffany Hergert, secretary Jessica Geissinger, treasurer, and Sean Lewis, field captain

Pelissier said the club opens at 10 a.m. with burgers and fries served all day. Youth shooters get first round free and there are shells for sale. The top scores recorded at Endicott Gun Club Jan. 20 were: Men- Ed Schultz 23, Jacob Jensema 23, Mark Teal 22, Sean Lewis 21. Women - Jessica Geissinger 16, Amanda Pelissier 15. Youth - Connor Pelissier 21, Hunter Weitz 21. There were 22 shooters with the weather 20 degrees and calm

Elizabeth Circle met Jan. 8 at Trinity Lutheran Church and found time to do some sewing on the blankets that they make for missions.

DNI Pinochle Club met Jan. 21 at the home of Judy Cook. Also present were Jerine Grey, Jenny Meyer, Bertie Honn, Mary Repp, Fran Cuttler, Janet Hedlund, Kathy Schlomer, Kathy Storment, Kathleen Richter, Marsha Honn and Anne Lowe.

The Endicott Food Center hosted the first indoor Free Winter Movie Night Jan. 18 sponsored by the Endicott Community Club. Signs at EFC will give notice on the next movie night.
