Colfax boys hoopsters report after grid run

Colfax boys basketball again gets a delayed start this year while the football recruits report to the gym. Colfax scratched its non-league opener Friday with Freeman, but figures to get in two non-league games next week.

Starting his fourth season as head of the hoop crew, Coach Reece Jenkin will have a lot of experience back from last year’s 23-5 team which finished in fifth place at the state 2B show in Spokane.

“We’ve had about eight guys out for practices the last couple of weeks, and that’s a little tough to do,” Jenkin noted.
