Colton nominates sports slate to LCSC

The late Marv Druffel has been nominated posthumously by Colton for a meritorious service award for the annual Warriors Athletics Association high school awards from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston. The nominees will be honored Oct. 12 at an awards dinner. Colton was among 21 area schools to submit nominations.

Also nominated were Mollie Kramer, girl athlete of the year; Steve Eacker, boy athlete; girls basketball, team of the year; baseball coach Pat Doumit, coach of the year.

Pomeroy, the only other SE team to participate, nominated Kindsey Bott, girl athlete; Troy Knebel male athlete; the boys track team; Randy Mulrony, coach of the year; and Diana Burt, meritorious award.
