Blue Devils take double from Pats in league play

After booking a 3-2 run in the Spokane/Coeur d’ Alene Wooden Bat tourney over the weekend, the Pullman Patriots dropped two games to the Spokane Blue Devils in a makeup round Tuesday at Pullman. The two defeats left the Patriots 6-10 in the Spokane Legion League with a trip to the four-day Walla Walla tournament this weekend.

Tuesday at Pullman, the Blue Devil posted a 6-2 win in the first game and a 16-1 blast in the second game.

The Pats had trouble getting the bats in gear with just four hits in the first game.
