Spartan girls wrap up basketball season

Rosalia girls basketball team wrapped up their season with a potluck dinner March 11.

Coached by Dave St. John and Tysen Blank, the girls post a 15-9 records in the SE 1B league.

The team grade average was 3.63.

Senior Kaileigh Wendt, received the inspirational and captains award.

Samantha Barnes, the other senior on the team was credited for her hard work.

The Spartan award went to Briann Maley, all league player who averaged 16 points a game and finished with 201 rebounds.

Tayler Nelson received the top defender award.

Kristin Paulson finished the season with a 73 percent free throw mark and 102 rounds.

Maddy St. John had 126 rounds.

Freshman Mackenzie Reddish was also named for all league honors Shannon and Stacy Carrothers were recognized for outstanding grade averages, and Sarah Fisher was named most improved.

Other team members were Haley Lindgren, Hannah Sims, Alex Naught and Regihna Eberle.

Jayvee eighth graders recognized were Rayna Charles, Maggie Hereford, Faithe Danilson and Jessie Polley.

Managers Daphne Jacobs and Beau St. John were also recognized.
