Kyllo attends Ham on Regal musical

Carol Kyllo spent two days in Spokane last week at the home of her daughter’s family, Tami and Wayne Haas and children. She attended a performance of Ferris High School’s parents’ annual fundraiser, Ham on Regal. This year’s performance was called “Hollywood Hogwash - A Ham on Regal Mystery”. Tami and Wayne were part of the band. Former LaCrosse resident Tod Fleming played the part of Buzz Lightyear.

Joan Broeckel and other Onecho Bible Church women hosted a bridal shower in the Broeckel home Saturday for Shana Largent. Forty-five guests attended the brunch.

Amber Broeckel, Boise State, and Jennifer Broeckel and her fiancé from Seattle, spent the weekend at the home of their parents, Ed and Joan Broeckel. They all attended the Jenna Vuletich and Sean Miller wedding in Pullman Saturday evening.

Blake Heaton returned home Saturday after an interminable stay in the hospital.

Saturday, Art and Colene Sager flew to Moses Lake for a Flying Farmers meeting.

Karen Broeckel’s basement was the gathering place for a family sausage making session Saturday. Approximately 400 pounds of sausage was produced by the crew consisting of Oscar Broeckel, Brian and Angela Broeckel and Graham, Dusty; Cliff and Jeanette Nolan, Greg and Gwen Nolan and Jason, Colfax; Andrew Nolan, Pullman; Patty Wieber, Brett Wieber and Lindy Hansen, Spokane; Tom and Doreen Riedner, Genesee; Tony and Denise Kendall, Tacoma; Ken, Pam, Zach and Austin Beasley, Waitsburg, and John Murray and Judy Wharton, Bellingham. They also celebrated six March birthdays and two February birthdays in the evening, milestone birthdays for Doreen, Denise and Pam.
