Raiders’ charge eliminates Colfax girls from state run

Colfax girls spun out of the state finals Friday night when an 11-point halftime lead vanished and Jada Desautel of Lake Roosevelt dropped a three-point shot at the buzzer to eliminate the Bulldogs 45-42. Her shot countered a three-pointer by Colfax junior Hannah Harazin which tied up the game at 42-42 and had Colfax fans thinking overtime.

The Raiders took the ball, charged down the length of the court and then shot it back to Desautel behind the three-point arch. She hit it right on.
