Colton crunchers aim to start playoffs with SE shutout run

Colton’s girls, who booked two more power wins last weekend, aim at capping the SE run before the district starts two weeks of playoffs on the road to the state 1B finals. Colton Friday will host St. John/Endicott in the second-round battle of the league leaders.

The Eagles, who had Alli Winters, their scoring leader, back in the lineup, also took two wins over the weekend. Lone loss for the Eagles to date this season was the 64-24 crunch served up by Colton in a visit to the St. John court four weeks ago.

Last stop of the SE slate for the Wildcats will be at Garfield/Palouse Saturday night.
