Coach Morgan, four CHS seniors get all-state call

Colfax football coach Mike Morgan has been named head coach for the East Side team for the all-state football game in Yakima June 25. Morgan’s opponent for the west side team will be Sid Otton, long-time coach at Tumwater who headed the Bulldogs here early in his career.

The state game will include players from the 2A, 1A and 2B divisions. The selection process was done through the Washington State Football Coaches Association. Players are selected from nominations submitted by the leagues around the state.
