Sara Goude gets 80th fete at store

A surprise 80th birthday for Sara Goude was at the Hooper Store Saturday. Sara worked at the store when it was still open as a general store and later ran Sara’s Country Store in Hooper. The party was hosted by Sara’s children and their families, and many former and current Hooper, Washtucna and LaCrosse residents attended.

Anna May Tobin visited Terry and Helen Tobin of Connell, Sunday, Sept. 19. They celebrated granddaughter Emily’s birthday.
