Smicks to mark 60th vow date

Dale and Loraine Smick will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Sept. 24 with a family dinner. Loraine Heim and Dale Smick were married Sept. 24, 1950. They had the first wedding in the new Trinity Lutheran Church building at Endicott. They have lived for the last 57 years on the farm outside of Endicott where Dale was born and raised. Their son, Alan, is the fifth generation of their family to farm this land. Alan and his wife, Teresa, live in Colfax. Their daughter Susan and her husband, Rich Crawford, live in Bedford, Texas. They have one granddaughter, Becky Crawford, in Dallas, Texas.
