Motorcycles will return to fairground

Pro-moto motorcycle rodeo and rally will return to the Palouse Empire fairground over the holiday weekend with a display of vintage motorcycles, music by three bands and rodeo competition in the arena.

First edition of the rodeo last year at Mockonema attracted many local fans and provided an incentive for the group to return, according to Gary (Bootmaker) McGlasson of Spokane.

Food service will be on the grounds. Bands booked to play Saturday, beginning at 2 p.m. include the Longnecks, Boozefighters and Voodoo Church. The bands will play in an outside setting, McGlasson said.
