‘Dogs hammer Gorillas twice

Colfax baseball players continued their Bi-County string with two big wins at Davenport Saturday. The Bulldogs downed the G club 14-4 in the first and 11-0 in the second game.

Colfax had been slated to play Liberty in a league doubleheader Tuesday, but the game was rained out. They now are slated to get the game in today, Thursday.

In the first game at Davenport, senior Brandon Hoadley continued his string for the 14-4 win after getting a rough start. Hoadley allowed just one hit, but Davenport put up three runs in the first two innings.
