Pullman girls Saturday topped out Whitman County’s run in the state volleyball finals with a win in the 2A division. Coached by David Weitz, the Greyhounds out-battled Archbishop Murphy in five games at the 2A finals in Kennewick. Pullman led all the way in the fifth game decider.

The `hounds took out Black Hills of Olympia in three games in the semi-final round at Kennewick’s Toyota Center. The 2A title win means three of the six state net trophies were won by Whitman County teams.
