Smicks mark 65th anniversary

Kenneth and Sylvia Smick celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner hosted by their children at the Shogun Restaurant in Spokane, Oct. 3. They were married Dec. 2, 1944, in Colfax. They live in Endicott where they worked on the family farm from most of their married lives. They retired in 1984. Their children and spouses are Glenn and Susan Smick of Endicott; Ken and Cathy Smick of Spokane; Carol and David Gordon of Walla Walla; and Annette and Pat Smith of Kendrick, Idaho. They have six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
