Oakesdale

Oakesdale Presbyterian Church will participate in Operation Christmas Child sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse in filling gift shoe boxes.

They will hold a wrapping party following church services Nov. 8 and will also serve a spaghetti dinner. All boxes need to be collected at the church by Nov. 15. Call Heather McIntee or Gail Parsons for more information.

Bridge Club was hosted by Penny Rickett at the Oakesdale Cafe last Thursday. Winning high prize was Wanda Brown. The second high went to Marvel Ebert. The Traveling June Crow went to Bingo Frances Zimmerman. The low prize was Donna Fisher. Nina Gregory will host the next bridge club Nov. 5.
