Youth Field days set at Benge ranches

Two one-day field events will be at two ranches near Benge. Saturday and Sunday, April 28 and 29. Hosted by Youth Outdoor Adventures, a NRA-endorsed non-profit organization, youngsters from 9-17 will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor and shooting sports at the Bar U and Warm Springs ranches. Equipment, instruction and lunch will be provided. One adult per two participants is requested. Cost wil be $80 per person.
The days will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with areas of instruction including sporting clays, target shooting with small-caliber firearms, fly-fishing, pheasant/chukar hunting with dogs and handlers. If weather is bad, alternate activities include geo-caching and archery.
