Many attend Riedner fete

Saturday, Doreen Riedner threw a surprise 50th birthday party for her husband Tom Riedner in the elegant Shoppe de Riedner, Genesee. Approximately 70 guests attended including Tom’s mother, Bert Riedner of Colton, his brothers, many other relatives, friends and neighbors. From this area, Oscar Broeckel and Brian and Angela Broeckel enjoyed the event. Tony and Denise Kendall came from Tacoma. Cliff and Jeanette Nolan and Karen Broeckel were a small group who attended together. Special guest was Ruger Riedner.
Reuben and Judy Stueckle, Puyallup, were visitors at his brother’s home, David and Phyllis Stueckle, from Sunday through Wednesday of last week.
Tony and Denise Kendall, Tacoma, were weekend visitors of her father, Oscar Broeckel. Tony also visited his uncle in St. John Friday.
The Republican caucus for LaCrosse, Hay, Hooper, Dusty and Endicott precincts will be at the LaCrosse City Hall at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3. Contact Jan Smith for additional information.
Special speakers from the A.L.A.A.C.A. Organization in Nez Perce, Idaho, will be at the Country Bible Church during morning worship services on Sunday, March 11. A potluck dinner will follow. All are welcome to attend.
