WCL assists with Working Family Tax

COLFAX — The Whitman County Library, Colfax and Rosalia branches will be hosting representatives from the Washington Department of Revenue to help provide assistance to individuals signing up for the new Working Family Tax Credit, Friday, March 10, in Colfax, and Saturday, March 4, in Rosalia from 12 to 2 p.m.

Those who have children and filed a 2022 Federal Tax Return may be eligible for the next tax credit, and can learn more about it from the Department of Revenue.

Attendants are required to bring a copy of their 2022 Federal Income Tax Return, a Washington ID, and their social or individual Taxpayer Identification Number, (ITIN). As well as bank account information if they would like direct deposit.

For those who cannot attend the Colfax or Rosalia sessions, there will also be programs held on April 12, in Uniontown, on April 13, in LaCrosse, May 4, in Farmington, May 10, in Malden, June 6, in Albion, and June 13, in Tekoa.
