Habitat Hero awards presented for 2022

MOSCOW, Idaho – The Palouse Habitat for Humanity recognized Moscow Central Lions Club and Tom Carpenter of Cabinets & More with Habitat Hero awards in 2022.

The Moscow Central Lions Club volunteers help build accessibility ramps, install handrails, repair decks, and front porches so low- and very low-income homeowners around the Palouse region have safe access to and from their homes.

“Thanks to the support of the Lions, we have completed 140 projects, benefiting 220 individuals around Latah and Whitman counties,” said Palouse Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Jennifer Wallace
