Recap: Last week in Dusty

Saturday, Denise Broeckel Kendall, Tacoma; Doreen Broeckel Riedner, Dusty; Sheri Shaffer Hatley, Oakesdale; Paula Morris Meyer, Colfax; and Kristal Krom Kirpes, Colton, were guests at The Parsonage Bed and Breakfast in Dusty. This was their twenty-second year of celebrating “Girls’ Weekend”. The women are all from the LaCrosse High School class of 1979. The traditional things were done...a “Dusty Fire Drill” was performed at the Keebler cookie elf’s home (also known as Karen Broeckel) , had dinner prepared this year by Paula Meyer, spent their time catching up on two year’s worth of laughter and visiting and attended worship services Sunday morning at the Country Bible Church after enjoying a scrumptious breakfast prepared by proprietor Vicki Broeckel. Sunday afternoon they all returned to their respective homes. Denise Broeckel visited with her brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Angela Broeckel, before returning to Tacoma.
