Sheriff's Office recognizes youth who gifts bike

ALBION — A 14 year-old-boy received a big shout-out from the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office for donating his bicycle to a victim of the Babb Fire.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Douglas Gibbs’ full-suspension Giant Anthem mountain bike was stolen from outside his home this summer. The bike was recovered several weeks later after Gibbs’ family had already purchased a new one.
