Grandmothers donate more than $8,000

COLFAX—Thrifty Grandmothers Club voted to award $8,350 to local organizations at its November meeting.

The list includes mostly seasonal or yearly event support, except for Colfax Community Fund, which received $5,000.

Other gifts are Distinguished Young Women, $1,500; Volunteer Firemen Toy Box, $1,000; Tom’s Turkey Drive, $500; Bethel Cemetery Wreaths Across America, $250; and Whitman Hospital Baby Wagon 2021 first baby, $100.
