Athenaeum Club adorn antiquated attire

COLFAX–Athenaeum Club met Oct. 2, 2020, at the Perkins House. The yearbook committee greeted guests clothed in dresses, hats and gloves that members would have worn long ago. Members gathered on the lawn and were seated six feet apart with masks on. A yellow mum plant was given to Georgie Leinweber for wearing the best hat. Her hat was once worn by her great-grandmother.

Athenaeum’s next meeting on Oct. 16 will be held on Zoom....
