Mother/daughter duo places at state 'Make it with Wool'

Carmen Barkley, Lacey, was named senior winner, and Jill Swannack, Lamont, placed in the adult division at the state "Make It With Wool" competition Nov. 9 in Vancouver, Wash.

Her mother, Jill, constructed and modeled a two-piece wool ensemble consisting of a forest green wool jersey knit top and black pinstriped wool slacks.

Junior winner in the competition was Marissa McBride, Walla Walla.
