Library sets building sessions

Young architects ages eight and up are invited to build homes with the Roominate Village kits at selected branches of Whitman County Library.

During this activity, kids will build a structure from their imagination with connection walls and floor panels then use modular building pieces to create bookshelves, tables, slides, seesaws and more.

Programs have been scheduled at the following library branches:

Wednesday, Oct. 9 – Uniontown Library at 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 10 – Colton Library at 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 16 – Garfield Library at 1:30 p.m.

The kits are made available to Whitman County Library through the Washington State Library and Institute of Museum and Library Services.
