Karen Broeckel attended two birthday parties in Spokane this weekend. Saturday, she was at the home of her niece, Jamie and Bobby Halbig, for nine-year-old great-niece Evie’s birthday celebration. Sunday, she attended great-great-nephew Holden’s seventh birthday party at the home of his parents, Emily and Andrew Nolan. Other locals who were in attendance included grandparents, Greg and Gwen Nolan, and aunt and cousin, Jamie and John Kinley, all of Colfax.
