Dale Lyon will be inducted into tractor Hall of Fame

Everett Martin and Dale Lyon behind a Model B industrial tractor at the museum in the world headquarters of John Deere Corp. in Moline, Ill. They made the trip in March 2018 to attend the biennial Gathering of the Green held in Davenport, Iowa.

Whitman County resident Dale Lyon, who resides in the Johnson area, will be inducted into the National Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Association Hall of Fame Saturday, Oct. 13, at the quarterly meeting of the Lewis-Clark Antique Power Club, Inc.

The meeting will be in the Uniontown Community Building starting at 11:30 a.m. with the ceremony beginning at approximately 12:30 p.m.

The Hall of Fame honors those who have made significant contributions to the collecting, preservation and exhibition of antique tractors, engines and equipment. Lyon is a charter member, past board member and treasurer...
