Beekeeper gives library demo

Rosalia Garden Club recently sponsored an educational program about bees at the Whitman County Library, Rosalia branch. Beekeeper Shannon Thornton showed a basic box and the boards of honeycomb with the children tasting the honey. She dressed in her beekeeper's outfit to show how she is protected when she removes honey bee swarms.
