Thompson corrections

Sam Thompson Memorial Scholarships were awarded to four recipients in 2016 and three in 2017. To date, no applications have been submitted this year. The son of Jim and Lisa Thompson of Colfax, Samuel Thompson, a member of the Colfax High School class of 2012, died in a head-on collision Sept. 12, 2014, on Highway195 south of Colfax.

Donations to the scholarship fund will go directly to support Colfax High School students. They can be sent to the Sam Thompson Memorial Scholarship Fund, Box 262, Colfax, 99111, or to the Facebook account www.2stayalive4me.com.
