Airport mitigation wins best-in-state award

In January, the state chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) presented the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport's mitigation site project with the Best in State Gold Award for Engineering Excellence in the category of Social, Economic and Sustainable Design.

The mitigation effort was designed by J-U-B Engineers, Spokane, to compensate for 22 acres of combined wetland and stream impacts from the airport's runway extension project.
