Homestead volunteers make 3,000 soup bags

Homestead Ministries went to Valley Christian School in Spokane Valley and made 3,000 bags of soup for the area’s underprivileged. Whitman County residents who participated in assembling the packets included Tom and Doreen Riedner, Greg Nolan, Jeanette Nolan, Bob and Norma Schultz and Brian and Debbie Largent. Joining them from the Spokane area were Grant and Angie Collins, Patty Broeckel Wieber and her daughter, Jamie Halbig.
