Allegedly bitten

Formal charges of third degree assault and resisting arrest were filed in superior court Friday against Allyson Herkowski, 23, Pullman. According to the arrest report, officer Shane Emerson was called to Etsi Bravo at 10:28 p.m. New Year's Eve by a report that a woman refused to leave when asked to do so. Emerson's report alleged Herkowski bit his leg as he was attempting to escort her down a stairway. He added he was later kicked while attempting to get her into a police car.
