LaCrosse needs Parks & Rec. board

LaCrosse Parks & Recreation district needs board members. Tricia Aune said five residents of the park district are needed to fill vacancies on the board. Some board members have resigned and others have moved out of the district.

Aune said she has received commitments from two residents to date to fill the seats.

The park district includes roughly the area in the school district.

The levy for the pool's operation has been approved for the year, but the district needs a board to oversee the pool's operation and deal with other park and recreation matters.
