BB club charts Christmas plans

Dusty B.B. Club will meet Thursday, Dec. 14, at the Colfax Catholic Parish Hall at 9 a.m. to decorate for the Christmas party. Diane Monson and Liz Appel are hostesses. For roll call, bring one dozen cookies to exchange and a copy of the recipe for everyone.

The Christmas party will be Friday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. It will begin with a potluck dinner. Members are asked to bring a hot dish and a salad or dessert. Beverages and table service will be provided. Participation in the kids’ program is encouraged. Please tell Liz Appel what your child or grandchild will be doing for his/her performance. Santa will arrive. Bring gifts for children to add to his bag and one for hubby too, if desired. Also, there will be a ladies’ gift exchange. Bring an inexpensive gift if you wish to participate.

Guests staying for Thanksgiving at Dick Appel’s were Bruce, Elaine and Charlie and Spencer Appel, Spokane; and Catie and Jim Appel, Yakima. Bruce Appel, Liz Appel and Lisa Frei prepared the Thanksgiving feast. Guests were Bruce, Elaine, Charlie and Spencer Appel, Spokane; Liz and Neil Appel, John Paul, Grace and Michael, Dusty; Lisa and Travis Frei, Miriam, Rachel, Emma and Colette, Palouse; and Dick and Helen Appel, Dusty.

Tom and Doreen Riedner hosted Thanksgiving dinner in their home for Tony and Denise Kendall, Tacoma. Denise had attended the Graham BeDell – Kim Ware wedding in Nampa, Idaho, the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving, drove back to Dusty with Riedners where they met Tony Wednesday evening. Saturday, the Kendalls returned to their home in Tacoma.

Dick and Helen Appel welcomed a new granddaughter Sunday. Sue and Joe Lynch, West Lafayette, Ind,, have a girl. Lillian Faith weighed nine pounds, two ounces. She joins sisters Cecilia and Abbagal.
