Thursday, Nov. 2

Albion - 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. - Thursday Art - Kids, come and get your fingers busy during an hour of mixed media art.

Albion - 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. - Free Medicare Help - Join SHIBA volunteers, Joyce and Daniel Leonard, for free and impartial information to meet your needs. Drop-in any time to receive assistance, as Medicare is a changing and complex process.

Tekoa - 4 to 5 p.m. - Ladies Craft Night - Bring a friend and enjoy crafts, conversation and the sharing of expertise.

Friday, Nov. 3

Colfax - 12 p.m. - Meet a Local Author - Beverly Mader Wilson will be presenting her recent book, “Mara: Pioneering in the Palouse Country,” providing a look at the Palouse and its history through the eyes of her ancestors.

Malden - 12:30 to 2 p.m. - Caregiver Support Group - We provide a place where family and other caregivers can share experiences and strategies to support each other. Join us and receive help to lighten the caregiving load.

St. John - 1 to 3 p.m. - Pie and Bingo - Happiness is yelling BINGO and enjoying a slice of pie. Bring a friend and join the fun.

Saturday, Nov. 4

Colfax - 2 to 4 p.m. - Drop-in Tech Help - Drop-into the TEK Center to get hands-on, individual help with basic computer skills, internet, email, social media, downloadable audio and ebooks and more.

Sunday, Nov. 5

Colfax - Grain Elevators of Whitman County - This photo exhibit features the rustic and vibrant photography of Dennis Witmer. The display will be available through Nov. 15 and includes over 60 sites … nearly every elevator in our county.

Monday, Nov. 6

Uniontown - Dahmen Barn - 1 p.m. - Everybody Reads: Meet the Author – Meet regional author, S.M. Hulse, and discuss her phenomenal book, “Black River.” Don’t miss Hulse’s appearance, Q and A, and book signing.

Colfax - 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. - Caregiver Supper Group - All paid and unpaid caregivers are invited to join us for support.

Uniontown - 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. - Snap Circuit FUN. - STEM activity for ages 10 and older to actively explore electrical circuits.

Tuesday, Nov. 7

Colfax - 12 p.m. - Everybody Reads: Author Luncheon - Enjoy a meal and listen to author, S. M. Hulse, as she discusses this year’s Everybody Reads selection, “Black River.” Bring a lunch or reserve a catered dish for $13 at 509-397-4366.

Colfax - 2 to 4 p.m. - Drop-in TECH Help - Get your technology questions answered with one-on-one assistance.

Colfax - 2 to 4 p.m. - Color Me Crafty - – Adults of ALL AGES are invited to enjoy coffee, cookies and coloring with friends.

Tekoa - 3 to 4 p.m. - Snap Circuit FUN. - Amazing, hands-on STEM activity exploring electrical circuitry for kids of all ages.

Colfax - 6 p.m. - Class and a Glass - Yoga, chocolate and wine will have you feeling fine. Join us for a cool, relaxing evening.

Wednesday, Nov. 8

Colfax - 12:45 to 2:30 p.m. - G Movie – Early release today and nothing to do? Just come down to the library for delicious snacks and a movie day. Children 7 and younger need an adult present, kids ages 8-12 need parental permission.

St. John - 3 to 4 p.m. - Snap Circuit FUN. - Hands-on exploration in electrical circuits for kids. Come join the scientific fun.

Uniontown - 5 p.m. - Craft Night - Adults are invited for creativity, conversation and camaraderie at the library.

Colfax - 7 to 8 p.m. - Ice Age Floods - Listen to Ice Age Floods Institute’s Palouse Falls Chapter’s presentation of “Flaked Stone Tool Production in Ice Age America” to learn of ancient artifacts and prehistoric techniques used in our area.

Thursday, Nov. 9

Colton - 3 to 6 p.m. - Free Medicare Help - Drop-by for free, impartial help with Medicare questions and concerns.

St. John - 3:30 to 5 p.m. - Tinker Tech Time - Grades K-5 are invited to meet monthly at the school for a variety of activities including Snap Circuits, Lego Mindstorms, Lego building, Code-a-Pillar, Ozobots, Magnetix and more.

Albion - 5 to 7:30 p.m. - Knit Night and Fireside Chats - Learn to knit, finish a craft project and/ or relax with friends.
