Traveling Lantern performs at Malden

The St. John, Rosalia and Malden branches of Whitman County Library combined resources to bring the Traveling Lantern Theatre production of The Ribbles Build a Residence to the Malden Park. A sudden thunderstorm sent the cast and crowd of 50 scurrying to relocate inside the Malden library, but with everyone’s help the show began only a few minutes late. The audience enthusiastically participated in the production and learned a lot about the planning and process of building a home. This program was a part of the ongoing Summer Reading Program “Build a Better World” at all branches of the Whitman County Library.
