Library tech series set to start

Weekly technology Tuesdays and Saturdays at the the Technology, Education and Knowledge Center located in the Bettie Steiger Community Enrichment Center at the library in Colfax will offer technology assistance and training for all skills and ages. Expert staff will be on hand to assist with a variety of technology questions or provide specific instruction.

June 20, 7-8 p.m. From Drug Store to Community Center: Library director Kristie Kirkpatrick will talk on the development, funding and future plans for The Center and TEK Center.

June 27, July 25 and every Saturday 2-4 p.m. Drop-In Tech Time: Bring devices and questions for one-on-one help with Microsoft Imagine Academy, basic computer skills, internet, email and more.

July 11, 10-11 a.m. Morning Makers: Kids age 8 and up can complete engineering challenges using Legos, recycled materials and more to “Build a Better World.”

July 18, 12-1 p.m. Microsoft Imagine Academy: An overview of Microsoft Imagine Academy with free online courseware from beginner to advance skill levels on a variety of Microsoft products.
