Colfax all-league softball players

Chelsea Becker, left, and Abbie Miller of Colfax were named for all-league honors for the NE league's south side softball team.

Both are juniors.

Miller did most of the pitching for the Bulldogs this year, and Becker was catcher.

Cheyanne Gleave of Liberty was named MVP for the south side, and Todd O'Brien of Lind/Ritzville/Sprague was named Coach of the Year.

Other all-leaguers on the south side were Sam Nicholas, Macy Mullins and Kinsie Miller of Asotin; Lacy Milleer and Tess O'Brien of LRS; Bailey Merriott of Reardan, and Katie Arrasmith and Jillian Bruce of Tekoa/Rosalia.

Northwest Christian pitcher Mattea Nelson was named MVP for the north side, and R. J. Glover of Kettle Falls was named Coach of the Year.
