Nighthawk girls produce PR's in Moscow meet

Viking boys set personal records multiple events

OAKESDALE - The Oakesdale Nighthawks track and field team saw multiple PR's throughout the Moscow meet, taking place Friday, April 12, in Moscow.

The meet saw 19 boys and girls schools compete, with Coeur D'Alene taking home gold on the boys side with 156 team points. Moscow took first for the girls with 142 team points.

The Colfax boys scored 12 total team points, followed by nine from the Garfield-Palouse Vikings, and three from the Nighthawks.

The girls side saw the Vikings take seventh with 33 team points, Oakesdale took 10th with 24 team points, and Colfax scored seven team points.

"I felt like kids did a great job and the weather was perfect. We had a lot of kids step up and run in relays specifically in the boys and girls 4 X 100 relay," said Colfax Head Coach Jason Cooper.
