Colfax junior Piper Cai wins the girls’ pole vault at 9-3, her best mark for the season.

Nineteen Colfax track team members qualified at the 12-team regional event at Central Valley Friday and Saturday and will compete in the three-day state finals which starts today at Roos Field in Cheney.

The Bulldogs qualified by placing in the top four in the events at the regional.

Colfax will have two of its regional winners, Ben Ahmann and Parker Warwick, on the line today for the prelims in the 300 hurdles.

Ahmann won both hurdle events at the regional, and Piper Cai and Warwick booked wins and second-place finishes to top Colfax tracksters at the regional meet at Central Valley.
