Mythologia show slated at Dahmen

"Mythologia," an exhibit of paintings by Beth Rimmelspacher and Linda Hyatt Cancel, will be on display at the Dahmen Barn from May 7 through 28. The opening reception will be May 7 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Rimmelspacher has been a full time artist since 1984. She works in oils in a realistic style, capturing local landscapes down to the finest details.

Cancel returned to Washington after nearly 30 years on the east coast. Glacial valleys of northeast Washington, the barren hills of central Idaho, the pastures and forests of South Carolina are among her subjects.
