Thursday, April 20

Colfax – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – WSU Raptor Program – EVERYONE IS INVITED. This after school science program is most suited for children ages three and up to adults. JES students may ride bus 8 from the school to the library with a parental note. Fun, science, and snacks included.

Colton – 5:30 p.m. – Community Disaster Preparedness – Red Cross Americorps presents this class designed to prepare households for natural disaster.

Endicott – 7 p.m. – Ladies Night – We will be discussing the novel, “The Book of Time” by Guillaume Prevost. ALL AGES WELCOME. Feel free to bring a snack to share.

Friday, April 21

Malden – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Caregiver Support Group – All paid and unpaid caregivers are welcome. We offer coffee and a light lunch with Rural Resources employee, Melissa Johnson (same time every first and third Friday of month).

Saturday, April 22

St. John – 9 a.m. – Book Club – This month we are discussing “A Gravestone made of Wheat” by Will Weaver. Coffee and tea are provided, but feel free to bring a snack to share.

Garfield – 1 p.m. – Kids’ Gardening Class – Celebrate Earth Day by learning how to care for your very own vegetable plant. FREE to all ages.

Sunday, April 23

Penny Drive – WCL’s annual Penny Drive runs April 9 through April 26 at all 14 branches. Bring your change into the library you use most and donations will go to fund their library programs.

Monday, April 24

LaCrosse – 2:30 to 5 p.m. – Adult Coloring – Join us for a relaxing time of creativity and conversation.

Oakesdale – 6 p.m. – Floral Arranging with Robin – Robin’s Nest Floral Design is providing this hands on class for only $5 and you will be able to create and keep your arrangement.

Colfax – 6 p.m. – Retirement 101 – Learn how to get the ball rolling for your retirement savings. Simple, basic instructions on how to start or continue saving even if you do not know where to begin. Please RSVP 509-397-4366, as seats are limited.

Tuesday, April 25

Colfax TEK Center – 2 to 4 p.m. – Tech Tuesday: Drop in Tech Help – Get hands on help with Microsoft Imagine Academy, basic computer skills, internet, email and more. Bring your device and your questions to our tech librarian.

Wednesday, April 26

Palouse Caboose – 6:30 p.m. – Trivia Night – Test your knowledge and win great prizes. We apologize but the event is full. Please call (509) 878-1704 to be added to the waiting list.

Uniontown – 5:30 p.m. – BINGO and Pie – You are invited to come enjoy an evening of Bingo, have a chance to win prizes, and of course, eat pie. Join us in this evening of fun for everyone.

Colfax – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Build Your Own WordPress Website – Josh Wade offers this technical class covering the basics of building/designing, creating account, customization, functions, and enough education to get you working independently. Albion – 5 to 7:30 p.m. – Knit Night – Learn to knit or bring any craft project you are working on and join us as we work together.
