Music festival set for Dec. 4

A Christmas music festival has been booked for Sunday, Dec. 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the LDS church at 2600 W. A Street in Moscow, behind Wal-Mart.

The fifth annual Community Christmas Music Festival will include performances by the handbell choirs from the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and Simpson United Methodist Church, a choir performance by the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse, harpist Daniella Clark, a student men's chorus and a choir from various congregations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, plus local violinists, organists and other artists.

There will also be opportunities for the audience to sing along to seasonal favorites.

All choirs and artists will combine for the final musical number.

The event is free and open to all. Traditionally, approximately 1,000 people attend the festival.
