Gazette hires WSU grad as advertising manager

Cara Tomlinson, 22, a recent Washington State University graduate, has joined the staff of the Whitman County Gazette as the advertising sales manager. Tomlinson fills a vacancy created in February when the previous advertising manager, Angela McDonald, left for another position.

Tomlinson returned here from Seattle where she resided briefly this summer.

“I wasn't ready to leave eastern Washington,” she said. “There's just totally different opportunities here than Seattle. It's just a rat race in Seattle.”
