Conservation fund applications due Sept. 30

The deadline to apply for funding in the Palouse Watershed Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) is approaching. The program which got its start last year is making a total of $11 million in funds available over five years for technical assistance and on-the-ground projects which will include more than 250 acres of riparian buffer installation, 45,000 acres of conservation tillage and 520 acres of agricultural conservation, according to a Palouse Conservation District news release.
