Alex Pan gets a greeting from Posse team members as he returns to the dugout in the fifth inning after hitting a two-run double to put the local club in the lead in the second game of a double bill with North Central.
The Pullman Posse team took two wins at McDonald Park June 29 before the Fourth of July break to extend its league record to 8-0. The opening 9-0 shutout win over Mt. Spokane nailed down a first place slot in the district playoff which will start in two weeks.
Mt. Spokane, the only other team in position to catch the Posse, arrived at Colfax with a 6-0 record.
