Lentil Fest tournaments open for registration

Pullman Parks and Recreation announced Friday, July 1, that the annual Lentil Festival 3-on-3 basketball tournament and co-ed softball tournament have opened for registration.

Both events will take place on Aug. 20 as part of the three-day Lentil Festival, slated for Aug. 19-21 in Pullman's Reaney Park. The basketball tournament will pit boys and girls teams against each other, with the team members being in grades third through eighth. Team members can come from any school or area, said Kurt Dahmen, Parks and Recreation superintendent.
