Happy Hooves 4H slates horse show

Whitman County Happy Hooves 4H Club will sponsor an open horse show Saturday, April 30, at the Palouse Empire Fairgrounds. It will be a state qualifying event for Whitman County 4H members and is open to non-4Hers. Twenty-four classes are offered, and buckles for overall high points will be awarded for each age division.

Check-in and registration will begin at 7 a.m., and classes will begin at 8 a.m. Contact Katie Whetzel or call (208) 301-1170 for an entry form. Participants may pre-register for $5 per class until April 25. Post entry fee is $8 per class. Concessions will be available on the grounds.

Happy Hooves Club will use the proceeds to fund a community service project.
