Colfax High golfers win at home opener

Colfax golfers scored 156 points to top the home opener Monday. Scores for the guests were Odessa/Harrington 226 and St. George's 239

Medalist for all boys was Bennett Gray who shot 36 in the nine -hole match. Also leading the Colfax Bulldogs were Augie Allenbach with 41, Chance Weitze 37 and AJ Miller 42. Leading Odessa was William Mann with 49, and leading St. George's was Winston Poppel with 55.

McKenna Davis led the Bulldog girls with 45, followed by Kylie Gronning with 49. The leading scorer for St. George's was Claire Bennett with 68.

Colfax golfers took medalist honors for both boys and girls March 15 in the opener at Ritzville. Weitze carded a 38 to top the boys scores, and McKenna hit a 42 to lead the girls. Other scores for the boys were Bennett Gray with a 43 and Miller with a 46.

Other scorers for the girls were Sarah Pugh 60 and Cassidi Shindler 64.
